## Play
Seven open-answer prompts, a 3-second preview, and 25 seconds per answer. Prepared rarity tiers award 10, 15, 30, 60, 85 or 100 points. Seven answers can total 700 points and 7,000 metres.

Choose Begin Descent, read the category, type an answer, press Enter or Dive, confirm a proposed correction if shown, then continue. After round seven, Surface opens the score report and accepted-answer review.

Daily resets at midnight America/New_York. Unlimited (https://krillion.game/unlimited) is separate: each game has an id, and https://krillion.game/unlimited?id=GAME_ID replays that exact game. Guest settings and history have a device-local copy; random browser identifiers and completed game records are held by this service. Comparisons use this site's players only.

## Limits
No player-facing generative model, AI-generated questions, credits, payment flow, themed packs, user login or official affiliation. The public source ships a small independently assembled sample bank. Runtime reference snapshots are separate from the MIT application license.

These documents are rendered from the same public product configuration used by the website. Changes take effect on deployment. External AI links only prefill a public question and may require a provider account; answers and indexing are not guaranteed.

No checkout, subscription, credit balance, or paid unlock is implemented in this release.

The game has 7 prompts, 25 seconds per answer and a maximum of 700 points. Each point adds 10 metres.

No payment is collected, so no payment refund workflow exists. External AI providers may have their own plans and policies. Third-party hosting costs are not player prices.

- Answer validator (configurable OpenRouter model): Checks answers that are missing from the prepared answer list, after aliases and typo matching. It only judges whether the answer is factually correct for the prompt and picks one of the six existing rarity tiers; verdicts are cached and scoring stays on the server.

Players cannot prompt or chat with a model. Questions are not AI-generated.

Answers are validated server-side against prepared entries, with normalization, known aliases and conservative typo correction. Only when no prepared entry matches, a cached AI verdict or a server-side AI check decides whether the answer is factually correct and assigns one of the six existing tiers; failures and ambiguous answers are rejected so the player can retry. Reference answer snapshots may differ from the original game in aliases or subsequent edits. Daily reference synchronization uses public endpoints, caches the snapshot in D1, and falls back to a clearly identified sample question bank when unavailable.

No accounts, multiplayer, themed packs, checkout or cross-device account sync is implemented. Unlimited does not change the daily score or streak.
