About Krillion.game
Krillion.game is a free daily trivia game that rewards the answer nobody else thought of. It is an independent project with no connection to the creator of the original Krillion at krillion.io.
The idea
Most quizzes ask whether you know the answer. Here almost every prompt has many correct answers, and your score depends on how uncommon yours is. Seven prompts, twenty-five seconds each, and every point takes your diver ten metres deeper.
What you can play
- Daily dive: the same seven prompts for every player, refreshed at midnight New York time.
- Unlimited: more seven-prompt games at /unlimited, each with its own shareable id.
- Answer review, a score chart, statistics, streaks and unlockable dive buddies.
- Settings for low-power play, colorblind-friendly colours, correction previews and sharing.
How answers are judged
Scoring happens on our server. An answer is first matched against the prompt's prepared list, including alternative names and small typos. If it is not listed, an AI model checks whether it is genuinely correct for that prompt and places it into one of the same six tiers. Every verdict is remembered, so identical answers are always scored the same way.
Where the questions come from
Daily prompts and their answer lists can be synchronised from public krillion.io data. When that is not possible, a small sample set written for Krillion.game keeps the game running, and the start screen says so. Score comparisons use only games played on this site.
Pricing
Everything on Krillion.game is free to play. There are no accounts, subscriptions, credits, paid packs or multiplayer modes at the moment.
