Privacy policy
Krillion.game is a free trivia game you can play without registering. This policy explains what information the game handles, where it goes and how long it is kept. It applies to krillion.game, the Unlimited page and the information pages.
What stays in your browser
Your settings, unfinished answer drafts, the list of dives you have completed and your statistics are saved in your browser's local storage. None of it is uploaded as a profile. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
What our server keeps
To keep scoring fair and let you resume a dive, the server records a random player identifier, the date and mode of each game, the Unlimited game id where relevant, the answers you submitted, the points awarded and round timing. These records are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. We never ask for your name, email address or payment details.
The cookie we use
One essential cookie, ok_player, holds the random identifier. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, sent only over HTTPS on the live site, and expires after one year. Without it the game cannot connect your answers to your dive. Analytics services, when enabled, may set cookies of their own.
Answer checking with AI
If an answer is not on the prepared list, its text and the question it belongs to may be sent through OpenRouter to an AI model for a correctness check. The request contains no identifier, cookie or history. The verdict is saved together with the question and the normalised answer, so the same answer does not have to be checked again.
Daily questions
Daily prompts and answer lists may be fetched from krillion.io and stored in our database and in private Cloudflare R2 storage. That transfer carries no player data, and your answers are never sent there.
Analytics
When configured for the live site, Plausible, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may record page views, game events and usage patterns. Typed text is masked in Clarity and answers are not included in analytics events. These tools never load during local development or automated tests, and blocking them does not affect the game.
Feedback
Ratings and suggestions you send after a dive are stored with your random identifier and the date, up to three per day. Please do not put personal information in them.
Score comparisons
The score chart is built from completed daily dives on this site. Unlimited games are never part of it, and other players cannot see your individual answers.
AI assistant links
The assistant icons at the bottom of the page open ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google or Grok with a prepared public question about this site. Using them is optional, and nothing from your game is attached.
Retention and your choices
Game records are kept so that history and daily statistics stay consistent. Rate-limiting entries are deleted within minutes. Records are never sold. To ask about or remove data linked to your identifier, write to us through the feedback form at the end of a dive, without including personal details in the message.
